Managing Contract Labour

Training Objective:

· To thoroughly understand the rights, duties, liabilities of the Principal Employer and the Contractor.

· To discuss viable systems to avoid any trouble while being within the permits of law.

· To share case histories and to refresh the knowledge of laws related to contract labour

Pedagogy:

The program will comprise of interactive sessions, case studies and slide presentation.

· Inspector and Inspection of Contract labour

· Problem of Payment to Contract labour

Trainers Profile:

Prof Madan Lal Jand is a retired Senior Class I Officer from the Indian Railways. He belonged to IRPS Cadre. He is an MA, LLB Gold Medalist, MICA and ITS (London). After retirement in 1991 from the prestigious Railway Staff College, Vadodara, he has been actively involved in training managers, executives and officers for almost all the PSU’s in the country. He has imparted training to around 40,000 gazetted officers of Indian Railways and other Govt. Organizations and more than 15000 officers of other Public and Private Sector companies on various aspects of labour laws. He is the editor of All India Services Law Journal and also work as an arbitrator.
